and when I call your name, no one but I, can see the bending grass...
My best friend hunts on The Eternal Happy

But still I can't accept - that he will not come back???
He left us suddenly almost 13 years old and I still miss him so terribly
much!!!
Once in a lifetime...

Gibson was my pride and joy and a pleasure to
live with. He was a very masculine and charming character with a fantastic disposition.
He forfilled our lives with glorious moments, gained CAC ticket, several BIS-Gundog
and several BIS-Veteran. He was a very happy healthy dog, still very well coloured with white teeth.
He carried his age
with dignity until the end!
Gibson was a true merry Cocker with a will to
please, liked
to carry everything. He was really fond of birds and field trials and
his father Elmore was an idol. A special
memory was The Working Championship in 1999... first as spectator but after
lots of persuading... we started! I didn't
believe he would be able to fetch such a big bird? But when I
turned around and saw my dearest retrieve that big pheasant... Oh my,
so proud he
was! From that day I realized
that the Cocker truly IS a gundog! Our happiest moment was when he gained the Field Trial
Award!!!
Gibson was
very loving and considerate with the ladies and a proud father of many lovely
offspring. See them
